Meet the Pear Tree Dental Staff
Dr. Melissa Renz, DDS, was born and raised in Michigan, growing up in Sterling Heights. She completed her undergrad at Michigan State University, then moved to Ann Arbor to attend dental school at University of Michigan. She graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2010, and still resides in Ann Arbor with her husband Andrew and their dog Raya. They welcomed their first child, a daughter, in October. Dr. Renz is committed to high-quality, state-of-the-art dentistry with an emphasis on comfort, education, and treatment of all her patients as individuals and friends. She looks forward to providing services to the Saline community in a kid-friendly, family dentistry atmosphere.
My name is Stacey Keene and I have been with Pear Tree Dental for almost 9 years. I graduated from Washtenaw Community College in 1995 where I received my Dental Assisting Degree. I also have a masters degree in Organizational Management/Healthcare Administration. I have an amazing 13-year-old son that keeps me on my toes. I enjoy spending time with my family and making people smile.
Hi, my name is Kristine Rhodes. I have worked in the dental field for over 25 years. I live in New Boston, and have two sons. My oldest (23) is away at college in Missouri on a Rodeo Scholarship and my youngest (7) is at home with me. My hobbies consist of horses, boating, and traveling. I thoroughly enjoyed my dental profession and assisting for Dr. Renz at Pear Tree Dental.
Carrie is a Registered Dental Hygienist certified in both local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. She received her Dental Hygiene Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Ferris State University. She went on to complete her Master’s Degree in Education from Western Michigan University. Carrie comes to us with over 20 years of experience in the dental field; this affords her extensive knowledge in patient care and periodontal therapy. Her active participation in continuing education courses allows for the use of current technology and evidence-based methods in patient treatment. Just prior moving to Saline, Carrie was a dental hygiene faculty member at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. She has enjoyed returning to private practice in Saline. Carrie is married and has two daughters, Hannah and Sidney that attend Saline Area Schools. She enjoys reading, walking, and spending time with her family.
I graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Kalamazoo Valley Community College in 2012. After 6 awesome years of living in Kalamazoo, my husband and I, along with our black lab Daisy, moved back to Saline where we both grew up and graduated from SHS in 2003. Go Hornets! We currently reside in Bridgewater Township and are loving the country life. I'm even trying my hand at raising a few chickens! I truly enjoy every season Michigan has to offer (yes, even winter!) and take pleasure in all different types of activities. I love being a hygienist and am passionate about my career. I'm so happy to be a part of the Saline community again.
Hi! My name is Ronda Bills. I am a 2010 graduate of the Dental Hygiene program at Grand Rapids Community College. Dentistry has always been a true passion of mine! I take pleasure in keeping up to date with the latest information and technology available in the dental field. I enjoy building trusting relationships with my patients and educating them on the importance of the oral-systemic connection. My husband and I grew up in West Michigan and have recently moved near the area. We love spending time with family and friends, hiking, kayaking, and watching football… Go Blue!
Casey joined our team in August 2016 bringing with her four years of experience in dental billing and 10 years in finance.
